It took almost a whole year, but I finally got my first hate spam on Masto. And the account was quickly suspended, thankfully. (Apologies to npub1ej6tjedu683tesntdtpk2c9h30gtkttnhurnrjdka4c35fzf2srstn2f5h (npub1ej6…2f5h) if the report function sent multiple reports...the overlay for reporting apparently doesn't disappear once you hit submit, so I thought it hadn't gone through 🤷♀️ )
Anyway, stay safe and sane out there. Report stuff when you see it. Block people. Don't be afraid to block an instance if it's ongoing from a specific place.
