ooof, stumbled upon my first real fuck-up by the code assistant LLMs. neither my local LLM nor my GPT could figure out why the .append() method wasn't working for me on a pandas dataframe. yeah, that was depricated in 2.0 lol. but my GPT is **super** confident that it should work and has a 9-step plan for me to chase my tail all afternoon.
