"content": "No it works quite well e.g. I use a minibuffer-only frame in https://codeberg.org/rahguzar/filechooser and with some configuration I can make it appear as a floating window above the tiling window I am working and I can use minibuffer to select files from #firefox (about the only application I use outside #Emacs). In that sense it works.\n\nOut of idle curiosity I was wondering if it is possible to do better e.g. make sure this frame appears above floating windows too and position this frame from within #Emacs (instead of my sway config). For me that would require Emacs to speak some #wayland protocol (and I don't know how those work).",
