When warping this project I put enough yarn on for around four towels, but I wanted to take these off first so I could finish them an examine the pattern and color combinations. The next fabric won't use every color.
To take these off the loom I used a technique that apparently production weavers use. First you weave at least an inch buffer, then add in a long towel, then weave at least another inch. Then you can remove your fabric and bind the dowel to your apron rod.
