The Amazon Basin shamanic cultures call it the medicine of soul retrieval. The western analogue would be Dissociative Identity Disorder. I had no serious trauma beyond parental "emotional unavailability" (which is abandonment) but I took it hard and I became the same and it almost killed me (heart disease). I also had a serious "archon infestation" I plowed through 9 layers. At the bottom was pathological rage.
