There's an interesting piece by Hannah Ritchie in the Observer on why we might be more optimistic about our response(s) to #climatechange - I'll post a link when its on line... but it contains one really interesting data snippet.
The world has already passed peak #emissions per capita.... in other words, individuals' aggregated emissions are declining but population growth is keeping the overall rate rising.
Does this suggest that we can be a little more optimistic than we might be? Possibly
