Dan Abrams and his website
Look at this headline from an aggregator site founded by News Nation's Dan Abrams, then ask yourselves what this website and this person are up to. Mediaite, aka Mediocreite, pretends to be some kind of media observing overseer of sorts. It has spewed repetitive attacks on Trump (seeking to de-humanize him), lied about Biden for the longest time, is now promoting Harris, and serves no actual purpose than to do what the rest of the media. It is populated by individuals who are mostly unknown and unaccomplished and are intentionally deceptive and deceitful.
Now, here it is monitoring my posts on the internet. The title of this article (?) is a joke. Look, it is no secret that the media are Democrat-left in orientation as is this site, founded by a Democrat, Dan Abrams, who play acts as a serious commentator but produces some of the dumbest programming about the law and the courts on cable TV. This site is a mix of tabloid newspapers and Media Matters. It hates Trump-Fox-Republicans and loves Biden-Harris-Scarborough-Democrats. Of course, there's an occasional negative piece on those its loves, but that's the nature of propaganda -- that is, to point to those rare occasions as evidence of evenhandedness, etc.
The media in the last 48 hours has unleashed one story after another remaking Harris, anticipating criticisms of Harris, using the usual race and sex bromides, giving voice to her leakers and campaign operatives, etc. I simply noticed it, denounced it, and challenged it. I posted several of their articles to make the point. The American media are awful, Harris is awful, the attack on our democratic system by the Democrat Party elites is awful, and propaganda operations populated by unaccomplished basement dwellers who have their own agenda but pretend otherwise is pathetic.
I understand Abrams wants his site to get lots of hits. I understand that he's a grifter and there's no level too low in his corporate pursuits. But yellow journalism, whether practiced by the original press sources or those that "aggregate" those sources, will continue to be exposed and confronted by me and others.
