I see. I suppose that’s true for some that they’d just ignore the ocean being there - but I LOVE the water, and nature in general. I always like being out in it!
The ocean, the bay, the foggy air- I do make it a point to go and see it and take it in, pretty regularly.
It’s one of the best things about this city, I think.
I used to live more inland, where it was hot and dry and I never thought I could live close to the sea- those towns on the coast were just too expensive.
But in a big city- one can always find some little hole in the wall in which to be a city mouse. (My apartment’s not that bad really- but it is small!)
