Well, you should if you're presently subscribed to a Microsoft service that's providing security fixes for that Windows 98 machine. 🙂
I question the logic too of using Ubuntu 18.04 for web browsing duties, however the OS is still actively being supported under a paid subscription… so I guess Canonical and Google should work together on this.
That said, part of me wonders how different Chromium is for this task… isn't that on the Ubuntu-side of the fence and thus being supported?
