unnecessary govt is bad. monetary policy that serves elites over the public is bad. debt that isn't used to facilitate future growth is bad.
but all those things can be used well and are needed. taxing middle and low income people over the very wealthy, such that disparity keeps rising, is bad. I don't care what percentage of the total taxes they are paying compared to the rest of us if the disparity keeps rising and they have enough to bribe politicians.
