This should be concerning to bitcoiners, IMO. If Cashapp cannot successfully integrate LN, despite having some of the best LN devs, how can we expect other exchanges and businesses to do so?
They will look at this failure as a reason to not even try.
CashApp (npub1cas…dg5l) implementation of the #bitcoin Lightning Network is currently unusable with a clear worsening of performance over the last several months.
It was more functional at launch than it is today.
It is easier and quicker to use the main chain if w/d from cash app.
The community looks to the app and the company as a representation for what the future could potentially look like when bitcoin is used for payments.
Do better.
I’m only calling this out because I care. It’s truly out of love.
