Time was that you might not even think about selling at double cost to make a profit, because that was just normal business at that scale. But Amazon - and latterly Ali, etc… - has conditioned us to expect to pay damn near cost for all the cheap items we want. The result is small vendors being either priced out of the market altogether, or made to feel like they’re ripping off their customers.
