Imagine if a government wanted to slowly & quietly dumb a countries population down, train them to be complacent and docile, and convince them that foolish entertainment and misdirection was more important than health & personal liberty.
This would have to be done over decades, always with plausible deniability. They might do it by replacing real food with junk food, leading to lower testosterone levels, brain fog, mental illness & chronic aches and pains. They might actually try to convince The People that ultra-processed food was actually healthy.
