I just know from looking that soil underneath will be in beautiful condition. Productive too with garlic, onions, beans and leeks from the bed.
Looks great. I love seeing covered soil and you’ve all that comfrey to mulch with whenever you want.
I chop and drop comfrey a few times each year here after it’s flowered. If I need extra mulch I’ll cut some areas of it more often.
Wonderful plant to have for pollinators, for liquid fertiliser, mulching and it’s great in the compost heap.
