There are companies who use automation as way to remove workers, not improve their productivity, who are pitching half baked products as actual replacements of smart, hard working people. That is a risk, and Google is part of it.
Also yeah, another "risk" is wasting power resources to producing these "AI" models. Companies must be regulated about their waste and their outlandish claims to get their stock price rising.
