The new #COP28 draft agreement was just released!
The updated text calls for member countries to commit to: "Transitioning away from fossil fuels in energy systems, in a just, orderly and equitable manner, accelerating action in this critical decade, so as to achieve net zero by 2050 in keeping with the science."
All 198 countries must agree for there to be a deal. Think they'll make it happen? Or that it will make a difference?
