Today we looked out at the rain,
Then at the heavier down pour!
As soon as it stopped I sorted out tools,
And loaded winches and chains into the car.
Sat and waited with Mum for a phonecall,
It never came.
It never came last Friday either,
Someone is taking the piss.
Went to the community workshop,
And winched an oak beam into place.
Removed and reinstalled bolts,
This time they are in a straight line.
Did caretaking,
And dealt with some emails.
Checked on parents,
Dad needs repeat meds.
Repaired my old ladder,
And also repaired my headtorch.
Watched a bit of YouTube,
But now time for bed.
