I don't necessarily agree that there's nothing we can do to stop AI from flooding the Internet. Even a super-intelligent AI is not capable of breaking the rules of math, i.e. forging a digital signature.
As to the prospect of humans becoming an intermediary species... (maybe this makes me a reactionary humanist) but I'm prepared to fight to keep that from happening.
Appreciate your points though. It's a very important discussion.
