50-0 vote for #tiktok ban after closed door briefing is very suspicious.
I think US should be more transparent but it makes me wonder what did they see there?
The only fair hypothesis I have is that US has strong evidence that Tiktok is being used by China for clear propaganda or some 0day and it's too sensitive to reveal publicly as to not strain US-China relationship.
What are you hypotheses?
