Inscriptions are literally unpatchable. They can use a different op_codes in the tapscript. Using op_false is them being nice so nodes can safely prune them.
Alternatively they may can use fake multsigs making the problem worse with chain bloat.
And ultimately they may end up using p2sh ordinals like dogecoin is doing ( they don’t have taproot )
It’s a lose-lose game.
