I used to barrack for a footy club called Mangoplah Cookardinia United. (They’ve since become Mangoplah Cookardinia United Eastlakes.) CARN THE MIGHTY GOANNAS!
You can imagine trying to cheer - especially when you also have mates playing on the opposing team, Ganmain Grong Grong Mattong.
A few tinnies in the back of the ute later, everyone just cheered no matter what.
(Are Wollongong and Wollondilly any funnier than Saskatchewan and Poughkeepsie? I find those amusing, too! 🤣)
