I've wondered this, actually. Maybe it is their predominant advertising model there. As someone who hasn't owned a tv in over 20 years, and has NEVER liked even banner ads, spam does not work on me. lol.
maybe there, its akin to street hawking, they just do that until someone buys something. lather rinse and repeat, kind of a thing.
