I started keeping a journal with #fountainpens in August 2023, with the intent of regaining some semblance of decent cursive ability again. At this point I consider I have done that successfully- my cursive is now better than it ever was in my youth. I'm happy about that! However I probably bought too many pens while learning about what I wanted or needed. I'm sure this is not uncommon.
I don't write in my journal every day, and there have been sometimes a few weeks with no entries at all. But that doesn't bother me too much because it seems I always eventually get inspired to pick up my pen again.
Some days i write about profound personal things on my mind, and other days I just talk about the ink I'm using or about going to the supermarket. It's all good!
