I'm trying to imagine myself, 20 years old, in the military, and being told that we're going to war with Russia.
I wouldn't want it, but my mindset at 20 was to n do what I was told and even if I don't support it, it's what our officials, who were elected by the people, want.
I don't think I broke that mindset until I was in my late 20s to early 30s.
Being in the military is a form of brainwashing. Seriously, the goal of basic training is to break you down and build you back up into a member of a team. It's not even subtle.
Just drunk thinking, pondering. If the soldiers today were ever told to point their guns inwards, "all enemies, foreign and domestic.."
