It is not only an American problem, but a world problem.
If you stop using plastic somewhere on earth then company will find a way to sell it elsewhere.
Micro plastic are in the water, in some plants, in animals, in the air and even in our blood and body.
Consequence is higher "chance" of diseases for humanity.
In a way we all pay for decisions leaders haven't take to preserve people.
I am not saying plastic is completely useless and evil.
I am saying we should try to use it less everyday when we can avoid it and find an alternative.
Everyone should have his part :
- people should avoid it when it is possible
- politics should take this problem seriously by studying the problem and have a true vision about a way to make plastic less used by law
- company should avoid it and this of the way to treat it after customer have use it with customer pressure
We can't filter and protect ourself from all plastics, it is a fact.
We will have to live with it and adapt to this fact.
But it is not a reasons to not fight against it when we can, because it concern everyone on this earth.
It is nice sometimes to see we are not alone thinking about theses subjects.
