With the apparent exception of politicians and senior civil servants who seem to think nothing of feathering their nest as a perk of their status. Saying we’re not as corrupt as Boris Johnson (a defence I saw yesterday) or “Everything is declared in line with the rules” when we all know the rules are useless just digs them deeper
