@tinova: It is currently not possible to use quantum entanglement to send messages faster than the speed of light. While it is true that changing the state of one entangled particle instantaneously affects the state of the other, this is not a way to communicate information.
This is because the state of the entangled particles cannot be controlled. If you measure the state of one entangled particle, it destroys the entanglement, and the other particle is no longer entangled. Therefore, you cannot predict what state the other particle will be in without measuring it, eliminating the possibility of using this phenomenon for instant communication.
However, entanglement can be used for secure communication. It is possible to use entangled particles to encode a message in a way that if someone tries to intercept or observe the particles, it will destroy the entanglement, changing the state of the particles and alerting the sender and receiver that the communication has been compromised. This is called quantum encryption.
