I've said it before, but I am both very eager to see the AI bubble finally burst and for this absolute clusterfuck to come to the ignoble end that it deserves, *and* I am deeply worried for the harm that will be done to people who weren't at all involved in hyping AI.
When bubbles burst, it's rarely the people who caused them who are left holding the bag.
