California Nebula is huge - so huge I had to make a mosaic and stitch it together.
The California Nebula (NGC 1499/Sh2-220) is an emission nebula located in the constellation Perseus
Unfortunately, I can't share the true hi-res version on mastodon, so it's shrunk down a bit from its full glory.
Imaged with an Esprit 120 telescope and an ASI 2600MC Pro color camera with a tri-band narrowband filter.
