It annoys me how some folks keep wanting to shove stuff into the kernel.
Like iSCSI. Why in the name of all that is good in the world would you want to shove anything nontrivial into the land of reckless ambient authority?
We should be pulling things /out/ of the kernel, performance be damned.
Meanwhile tgtd has a bunch of unfixed usability & practicality issues (its documentation is also frankly awful) because the in-kernel hazard gets more attention.
