The Apple II had BASIC. The mac came with MacPaint and MacWrite. The LaserWriter an iPod were their own killer apps. The iPhone was "3 devices". Apple Watch had health data. Etc, etc. Every one served an immediate standalone need, and the expandability was a bonus. I get a Vision Pro, put in on my face, and… then what?
