FYI, Amazon will no longer enable the downloading of ebooks to external devices starting February 26th. You need a pre 2024 Kindle to download them via USB. If you want the aw3 files for the media you have purchased, you have until Feb 26 to do this via the Content library option on your account. You can convert these files with the free Calibre software.
