During the year (~ 2010-2012) I was combining research and actual dating attempts, out of several hundred contacts and chats only two turned out to be real persons.
Platforms are scammy and are pushing for users to go premium, through restricting features, they have zero interest in you actually finding a potential partner, which would lead to you getting off the platform
