I have listened to a lot of people say this. Whereas the fediverse has proven to be unwelcoming to some, it is a place where the trans community has been able to feel safe.
I am very concerned about the hate that will arrive with Meta. The company allows some very outrageous and hateful accounts right now, and I don't see that they will step up moderation efforts.
