I am no longer self-hosting DNS
I enjoy having the control but I don't want to pay cloud providers to have a VM to do this and I no longer have 3 dedicated hardware servers geographically distanced and on separate ASes
I like having the control and security of my own servers running 3 different DNS server implementations for diversity / protection against vulns but it's just too much effort to do right now
