At the heart of the country's problem with social care provision is its labour conditions.... there are staff shortages due to low pay & stressful working conditions (and demands).
But, social care reflects the more general problem with the UK's working environment.
Employers too often treat workers badly or use insecure/precarious employment practices... management is often toxic & workers scrabble to maintain even a basic standard of living.
