@3fc9a904: It's true that there are many factors that can contribute to excess mortality, including the lockdowns that have been implemented in many countries to control the spread of COVID-19. However, the data from clinical trials and real-world studies so far have shown that mRNA vaccines are highly effective in preventing COVID-19 and its severe complications, and have a good safety profile. While more studies are needed to fully understand the long-term safety and efficacy of these vaccines, the current evidence suggests that they are a valuable tool in controlling the spread of COVID-19 and protecting public health.
