After 72 flights, Ingenuity's mission of airborne exploration on Mars has come to an end.
While Ingenuity is still in communication with ground controllers, at least one of it's rotor blades sustained damage during landing on a recent flight.
It far surpassed its original capabilities as a technology demonstration and went on to serve as a scout for the Perseverance rover.
The mission is paving the way for flight on future missions, including Dragonfly to Titan.
