I'm aware of that, I've read a good chunk of the nips and I'm currently programming software interfacing with nostr. Reposting my reasoning here :
Indeed, I just don't see a better place to implement moderation (i.e. message filtering, user blocking, etc...)
I like the inability to censor users on a wide scale, but I believe being able to create moderated community would help nostr when compared to existing social networking solutions. It'd be opt-in anyway
