If you're going to water glass your eggs for the winter, make sure you squeeze the heck out of them in the sink BEFORE you put them under lime.

They say you need to make sure the eggs are clean and have no cracks, but there's really only one surefire way to verify an egg is fully intact.

I just had to remove all my eggs and verify every single one was untainted.
Whatever tingled my Spidey senses about it was right; I had 4 eggs in the bottom that were cracked and were about to go bad.
