MY EXPERIENCE AT YAKOHONNE
INTRODUCTION
My name is Peter Adepegba.
I am a fifth year medical student.
I heard about yakihonne from a brother who explained and told me about the platform which is a decentralized social space
YakiHonne is a Nostr-based decentralized content media protocol, which supports free curation, creation, publishing, and reporting by various media.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
This great initiative was brought to me by my Brother Still~Gbenga
He pitched the idea behind the project and how he thinks this great project can be the face of decentralized social soace in future and the FUTURE IS NOW.
He told me it is a platform where people are being encouraged to improve their wrtiting skills and the ability to express one self without fear or any restraints or censorship
I’m presently doing a reaearch and I am sure this platform would help me improve myself

EVENT EXPERIENCE
The experience about my first experience is actually a funny one because I kind of felt some forces were just against me joining.
I tried to join on wednesday a bot was sending me out
I almost gave up on trying
I texted Yofu
He kept on telling me on what to do really appreciate him for that.
today I joined a quite late because I was waiting for the video link to be sent
I joined and to be honest for the first 10 minutes i didnt understand what was going on because I could barely hear the organizers
these are the few things i learnt ;
AI generated articles is not accepted it does not show ingenuity
one can always write on anything happening need to creative about it
AI can be used to correct ones grammatical errors but not to generate articles
One thing I love about yakihonne, I have been part of some nice project but none with community interaction, I mean everyone wants to make you a better writer at yakihonne and the kind of help I got while having difficulties joining the telegram group chat
CONCLUSION
I want to conclude by thanking the organizers Yofu , Mr Caleb and others involved in this wonderful project.
I hope to learn more and more from you
I also look forward to improving my personal self, concerning my research work and how it improves me as a person.
Writing is very important to me because it help me experess myself in an unimaginable way I am an introverted person by nature, I feel comfortable writing myself and other topics on yakihonne because of the freedom
